What to Expect From Apple in 2015

In the past, Apple Inc. has managed to grab the attention of every consumer and tech lover and it seems that 2015 will be no different. As the New Year begins, there are already rumors and predictions flying around about what the company is doing and all the major launches that it will make in this year. There are numerous expectations that are associated with the tech giant. The first is regarding the wearable watch that company is working on. It is one of the most anticipated launch of 2015 and is expected to be introduced in the market in the first part of the year.

There will be three models of the Apple Watch i.e. Watch, Watch Edition and Watch Sport. There will be small and large screen size options available for the Apple Watch. Initially, there were only rumors about the product, but since September 2014, there was confirmation that the product was indeed in the works. The debut watch of the Cupertino, California-based firm is paired with the iPhone and can support texts, phone calls, navigation and even payments via Apple Pay, all through your wrist. This is only the first product scheduled for this year.

The second would be another iteration of the iPhone, which will probably be the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. However, there is also a possibility that a third version of the iPhone 6 called the iPhone 6 Mini may be released by Apple in this year. There will be one primary change that the company is expected to make and that’s using sapphire for replacing the gorilla glass screen. Some other features are also rumored such as a completely new dual-lens iSight camera and 3D display. An A9 processor is expected to be used in the iPhone 6 Mini.

The best part is that this device will be a lower-end smartphone device, which will be launched to replace its predecessor, the iPhone 5C in the lower-end market. This is it for the iPhone. But, the company will not be done. According to the rumors, the American technology giant may also introduce a 12-inch Macbook Air in the second half of 2015, which will boast a Retina display. It is expected that the device is slated for mass production in the first quarter of 2015. The company may offer this device in three colors, similar to what it offers in the iPad range.

Another much-awaited launch is that of the iOS 9, both for desktop and mobiles. It would include an improved version of Siri, plenty of music services and support of third-party applications. The OS will most likely be introduced in September, along the next iPhone. In the middle of the year, the company may also introduce the iPad Mini 4 and an iPad Pro as well for boosting the sales of its tablet computer. Since its acquisition of Beats Music, it is being said that this service will also be incorporated into Apple’s devices along with its iTunes service.
