  • First and foremost, you need to write down goals depending on what you want from life. Make sure your goals are achievable and measured. Read them on a daily basis to remind yourself of what you are trying to achieve. You can break down your goals into a list of everyday tasks, which will eventually lead you to your goals. For instance, if your goal is to lose weight, you should outline a workout session, find a workout buddy and count calories. The first step is to write down your goals, but the best way to stay motivated is to take action.
  • Stay around people who are supportive of you and will assist you in staying motivated. Your motivation will be diminished if you are in the company of negative people who will only bring you down. You should exercise caution when you are choosing your goals and only share them with people who support and love you.

  • Attend a class which can assist you in accomplishing your goals. There are fitness centers that also offer classes as part of the membership. This is an excellent opportunity to meet people who share the same goals. If your goal is to switch careers, you can also find zero-credit classes at a local community college.
