It was no surprise that Frozen won the best animated characteristic movie. It was also no surprise that Michael Douglas won the category of best actor in a miniseries or TV video for his function in Behind the Candelabra.

Andy Samberg won best player in a TV series – comical performance for Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Emma Thompson, wielding a martini and with her shoes off, presented the award for best screenplay to Spike Jonze for Her. Jared Leto beat Bradley Cooper and Michael Fassbender to win best carrying actor in a shift image for his role in the acclaimed Dallas Buyers Club. Robin Wright won best player in a TV sequence – drama for her role in the shatter strike Washington drama dwelling of Cards. The list of winners can continue. In the case of certain categories, the winners did not seem to come as a surprise to anyone present at the great ceremony whereas in the case of other categories the winners were kind of controversial because not everyone considered them to be properly chose.
Anyway, the Golden Globe Awards was a great event, where amazing, talented actors and producers gathered to select the best from the best.
